Transportation application

Project Overview

The purpose of project three is to select a transportation application used by a team member in the previous projects, and focus on a major function to improve the selected application. After a group discussion, we decided to use Apple Maps as a basis to improve some map applications. Because Apple Maps is not only a very powerful bus system but also a very powerful navigation system. Event hough Apple Maps is a well-designed and developed traffic application, we think we can add some functions to this application. In the end, we designed that when users use the navigation, the map is automatically downloaded and you can see other users’ evaluations of the road. This will help improve the quality of user experience.

Vision Statement

Our new application will focus on the usability of areas where there is no mobile phone signal, and provide users with more accurate offline maps.
When the mobile phone has no signal, the map will no longer become a blank map and become unusable. In some cases, this is very helpful to users and will improve the accuracy and usability of offline maps. In some cases, it can not only provide life guarantee, but also help others to better use this offline map.

• Consider the amount of screen space
Most screens are dedicated to maps and navigation when using maps.
Important elements, such as search links or navigation buttons, are placed in an obvious place in the middle.
